To ensure the safety, security, and experience of Hendricks Live! patrons and performers, please take a moment to review our policies. Your ticket is a one-time revocable license to attend an event. By using a ticket and entering the venue, the ticket holder consents to the venue’s policies. Artists, programs, and dates are subject to change. If a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, you may accept the new performance date or obtain a refund to the original form of payment.
PERMISSION:
You grant Hendricks Live! and affiliates the right to be recorded, streamed, filmed, and photographed and to distribute, broadcast, edit, translate, or otherwise disseminate it without any further approval from you, in whole or in part. Examples of permission uses include YouTube, Hendricks Live! website, Hendricks Live! social media channels, live streaming, and distributing the presentation on DVDs, mobile phones, films, and other video distribution channels.
CONDUCT & LIABILITY:
Hendricks Live! reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the building, any person who fails to comply with Hendricks Live! policies. Guests who engage in disorderly conduct or any other behavior deemed detrimental to Hendricks Live! and/or the experience of other guests may be asked to leave the venue. Patrons who are asked to leave will not receive a refund or be compensated in any way for their loss. Disorderly conduct may include- but is not limited to- the following:

Intentionally blocking the view of other patrons by standing on chairs or placing children on their shoulders.

Drunk and disorderly conduct, including underage drinking.

Fighting or challenging others to a fight.

Use of profanity and/or offensive language that could provoke an adverse reaction from other patrons, staff, or performers.

Throwing, discharging, or launching any objects or liquids.

Igniting and displaying flames.

Attempting to enter the performance areas without official credentials.

Interference with or delay of the event.

Use of laser pens/pointers and noisemakers.
DOORS OPEN FOR PERFORMANCE:
Doors will open 1 hour prior to performances. Seating will be available 30 minutes prior to performances.
PARKING:
There is a parking garage east of Hendricks Live! on Center Street. ADA Parking is behind Hendricks Live! off N. Mill Street.
CELL PHONES & ELECTRONIC DEVICES:
Cell phones are welcome at Hendricks Live!. You will be notified via signage and an announcement from the stage if photos and videos are not allowed during a performance. We love it when patrons share their experience on social media using @HendricksLive or #HendricksLive. We encourage the use of electronic devices before and after each performance as well as during intermission. Prior to the start of the performance, photography of the stage set without performers and with proper credit is permitted. Before the show begins, we ask that all cell phones and electronic devices be silenced, as this minimizes distractions to the performers and other patrons.
LATE SEATING POLICY:
We strive to begin our performances on time. We ask that you arrive and are seated prior to the performance start time. If you arrive after the scheduled start time, you may be held at the door until a break in performance and then seated at the discretion of management. RESERVED SEATING VS GENERAL ADMISSION:
Reserved seating will receive a section, row, and seat number per ticket ordered. Please enjoy the performance from your assigned seat. General Admission seating is based on first come, first serve. Please select any unoccupied seat to enjoy the performance from.
ADA ACCESSIBILITY
ADA Accessible Seating – Hendricks Live! will ensure equal access and enjoyment for all individuals, regardless of ability. Accessible seating will be available for all performances. If there are any issues purchasing ADA seating for a specific performance online, please contact us at customerservice@hendrickslive.org.
Reasonable accommodations will be made for any individual who may need to exchange their tickets for accessible seating on the day of a performance. ADA ticket relocations are based on first come, first serve and are limited in availability on the day of the show.
ADA Listening Devices – Assistive Listening Devices are available at the Box Office. These listening devices amplify information broadcast through our in-house sound system. To ensure we provide the best service, contact our box office team directly to discuss and identify any needs and/or concerns you may have. If you attend a show and need an ADA Listening Device, please ask an usher or see the Box Office.
Interpreters – Hendricks Live! provides interpreters to assist hearing impaired guests. Requests for interpreters must be provided at least thirty (30) days prior to the event by contacting Guest Services at customerservice@hendrickslive.org.
Automatic Doors – Automatic doors are located at each point of the facility.
Companion Seats – Up to (3) additional seats may be purchased for companions of attendees who purchase an ADA accessible seat.
Drop off/Pick up/Parking – Enter the parking lot off N. Mill Street for ADA Parking and Entrance.
Fire Alarms – Emergency warning systems are equipped with both audible and visual strobe alarms.
Restrooms – Restrooms are equipped with ADA accessible stalls and fixtures. Restrooms are located on the first and second floors.
Service Animals – Trained service animals are permitted in Hendricks Live!. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a service animal as any dog, such as a guide dog or signal dog, that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. This includes psychiatric service animals that are individually trained to provide service to individuals with psychiatric or neurological disabilities, such as preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist, and will be required to rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. Additional seating can be purchased if necessary. Please notify Guest Services at customerservice@hendrickslive.org at least 24 hours in advance.
Temporary Disability – Please contact Guest Services at customerservice@hendrickslive.org to make arrangements if you have a temporary disability or injury and need assistance attending an event. Please contact us at least 72 hours prior to the start of the event.
TICKETS:
Day of Show Ticket Purchases – The Box Office will open (2) hours prior to every performance, and it can be accessed through the Plainfield Civic Center on the northwest side, from the parking lot, or 206 N. Mill St. The Box Office will close 30 minutes after each performance begins.
The Hendricks Live! Box Office will accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Photo identification matching the customer and credit card is required. Tickets will be digital and sent directly to your email. For any issues with purchasing tickets or accessing your tickets after purchasing, please contact the Hendricks Live! Box Office in advance at customerservice@hendrickslive.org. Day of show issues can be assisted with once doors open for your event at the Box Office, located on the west side of the building. There are no refunds or exchanges on tickets.
SHOW CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER:
Hendricks Live! works with local authorities to monitor severe weather conditions. If a show is cancelled due to severe weather conditions, you will be notified and given the option of a refund, exchange, account credit, or donation. Hendricks Live! will only give a refund, exchange, or credit if we cancel a performance.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES:
In the event of an emergency, an announcement will be made explaining the best method of exit. Please note the multiple red exit signs throughout the venue. For your safety, please exit in a calm and orderly manner.
WEAPONS POLICY ON HENDRICKS LIVE! PREMISES:
All guns, weapons, or knives of any type, concealed or unconcealed, are prohibited on Hendricks Live! premises. Anyone who fails to comply with this policy will not be allowed on the property or will be asked to immediately leave the premises.
OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGES:
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in Hendricks Live! Concessions will be provided by Hendricks Live!. Credit and debit card only.
LOST & FOUND:
Items are securely kept with the Guest Services Manager. Items will be held for a month after the show closes. Contact the Guest Services Manager at customerservice@hendrickslive.org.
CHILDREN AT HENDRICKS LIVE:
If your child has reached their first birthday, they are required to have a ticket. Keep in mind that a child under one will need to sit on a paying patron’s lap. Please be respectful and considerate of other patrons and the performers – if you need to leave a performance. For the comfort and enjoyment of the audience, Hendricks Live!, at their discretion, asks a patron to remove their child from the theatre if a child is creating a disturbance.
SMOKING POLICY:
Hendricks Live! is a non-smoking venue including e-cigarettes, tobacco, and marijuana products. No smoking is allowed on Town of Plainfield government property.
RE-ENTRY POLICY:
There will be pass-outs if you must leave and return during a show. You must stop and get a hand stamp from a ticket scanner. You will not be permitted to take alcohol outside the venue. You are not allowed to smoke on Plainfield Civic Center property.
